Perdigó is an engineering consultancy based in Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona . We work on medical products and technology to change people’s lives .

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer who is highly motivated to contribute to projects alongside our Medical team!

What would you do :

• Work from concepts and functional prototypes for novel medical devices to production-ready designs and specifications
• Conceptualise, design, prototype, and test components and subsystems.
• Generate 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings
• Review designs for industrial production
• Analyse and calculate tolerances
• Produce detailed technical and regulatory documentation for the design.
• Communicate your work in a multidisciplinary environment where the status quo is continuously challenged

What we need from you :

• Education as mechanical, industrial or product design engineer
• Work experience in mechanical and / or product design and development
• Strong analytical skills : you have the ability to use fundamental physics principles to assess and develop design ideas
• Skilled in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks and / or Fusion 360)
• Responsible and result-oriented; professional and ambitious
• Drive to change people’s lives through medical products and technologies
• Being based or willing to be based in the Barcelona area
• Good communications skills in English (work will be performed in English)
