A leading company in the VFX industry seeks a Matte Painting Junior Artist to assist in creating DMPs and 3D assets. The ideal candidate will have some experience and strong artistic and technical skills, while also keeping up with current industry trends. This hybrid position offers the chance to grow within a creative and dynamic team.

Formación

• 0-2 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.
• Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must.
• Low-medium English level desirable; Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create photo-realistic and stylized DMPs by combining photographs, digital paintings, and 3D elements.
• Assist team members as necessary and follow guidance from supervisors.
• Stay updated on artistic methodologies and technology trends.

Descripción del empleo

As a Matte Painting Junior Artist, you will be responsible to assist to the rest of the team in the creation of their DMP's or their 3D assets. This is a cross-discipline role and requires abilities in DMP, digital painting, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing.



Responsibilities

• Creates photo-realistic and stylized DMP's having knowledge of how to combine photograph-digital paintings-3D elements.

• Assists other team members, when necessary.

• Follows the Supervisor's and Lead´s guidance.

• Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.



Requirements

• 0-2 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.

• Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must.

• Low-medium English level desirable.

• Spanish desirable.
