- Planning raw and packaging materials for a European site based on the defined production schedules
- Maintain master data for raw and pack materials
- Create and maintain purchasing documents
- Manage inventory profiles to meet agreed targets with focus on slow- and non-movers, looking for opportunities leading to scrap reduction
- Reporting and monitoring activities related to Raw & Pack Planning KPIs
- Aligning with suppliers on consumption forecasts
- Monitoring purchase requisitions and determines delivery dates
- Actively driving supplier performance to improve the OTIF KPI
- Participate in cross-functional projects where involvement of Raw & Pack Planning is required.
- Identifies and supports on continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Planning performance
- Backing up and replacing other Planners during holidays or leaves within the European Raw & Pack Planning organization
- Collaborate closely with Supply Planners, Production Schedulers and other stakeholders e.g. Purchasing, Product Line Management, PD, from the organization
- Create / update supplier complaints in the system in case of underperformance
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
- 1-2 years of experience as intern or employee in supply chain management
- Business fluent level of English
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at different levels of the organization and with external vendors
- Ability to work in virtual environment
- Open-minded and flexible, ready for changes
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Basic knowledge of MRP planning is an advantage
- Strong team player and attitude to improve processes and projects
