As a Junior Logistics planner you will have the opportunity to create world-class customer experiences leveraging your innovation, team player and problem solving skills.

This position could involve working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include Saturdays, Sundays, night shifts and/or on-call duty.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Execute daily same day or next day forecasts.
  2. Plan delivery routes or monitor the volume flow, affecting tens of thousands of packages at EU level.
  3. You will be accountable for planning accuracy, cost and customer experience. In addition, you will be instrumental in developing best practices and standard work for the network.
  4. Ensure targets and service deadlines are met, according to regulatory requirements.
  5. Communicate with various departments, facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolving any potential issues that impact business continuity.
  6. Conduct research into process improvement initiatives and taking real-time decisions by taking a step back at strategic intervals to take in the bigger picture.
  7. Maintain and report up to date and accurate statistics, management reports and analysis.

A day in the life

This position is office-based.

As a Junior Logistics planner you will work across the EU in a cross-functional environment with the Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Ground Transportation teams, in order to support our day-to-day operations to ensure the timely delivery of Heavy/Bulky shipments to our customers.

About The Team

Within the Central Operations team, your role will be to focus on the last-mile Forecasting, Scheduling or Risk and Flow Team, playing a key role in our delivery stations operative supporting all EU countries.

Basic Qualifications
  1. Relevant experience in an analytical tasks or projects, working with data.
  2. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).
  3. Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
  2. Previous experience within transportation or logistics.
  3. Working experience on programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
