Merkle in Barcelona is seeking a Junior Java Software Engineer to join its Community team in Spain. You will design and code Java backend applications with a focus on clean code, testing, and TDD within agile teams.

You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, translate requirements into solid technical design, and help improve team workflows while delivering valuable increments each sprint.

Formación

• Degree in software engineering, computer science or telecommunications engineering.
• Java/J2EE experience (1+ years or more, depending on seniority).
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented design and RESTful services.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; proficient in English.
• Experience with Agile environments (Scrum) and TDD/BDD is preferred.
