Merkle seeks Java Developers to join agile teams in Barcelona. Design and code backend applications using TDD, ensure software quality, and participate in all development phases from analysis to delivery. Deliver valuable increments each sprint and translate requirements into solid technical designs while supporting teammates and API consumers.

The role requires Java/J2EE experience, OO design skills, English proficiency, and EU work permission, within a hybrid work setup in Barcelona.

Formación

• Degree in software engineering, computer science or telecommunications engineering.
• 1–2+ years of Java/J2EE experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design.

Responsabilidades

• Design and code Java backend applications using a test-driven development approach.
• Focus on the quality of your codebase (refactoring, testing, clean code).
• Be involved in all phases of the development cycle (from Analysis to Delivery).
• Deliver a valuable increment to the Business in every sprint.
• Participate in translating high-level requirements into technical design.
• Help improve your team’s way of working.
• Support consumers of your team’s components.
