Purpose of the role

To take responsibility for telephone, mail & onsite IT service delivery to end-users and the administrative and organizational follow-up of tickets (incidents, requests & changes) & updating CMDB, in order to provide a tangible and fast end user IT service. The second part of the role is to maintain the IT infrastructure, resolve structural problems in order to ensure that the continuity and efficiency of the IT infrastructure meets the needs of the organization and guarantees its optimum availability and adherence to agreed service levels.

Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Platform Tools
  • Knowledge of other systems/programs is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of the local language is preferred.
  • Well organized and able to analyze an IT problem in a short timeframe

  • Motivated to help people with IT problems
  • Capable of understanding and accepting the impact on the business
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Minimum Bachelor ICT or similar experience

Principal responsibilities / tasks

  • Offer first line support for incidents to restrict and prevent interruptions of IT services.
  • Utilize Topdesk as the ITSM tool.
  • Update procedures and configurations to provide the necessary tools to the first line to ensure stability of the environment within the agreed service levels.
  • Help ensure a continuous service to guarantee the agreed service levels with a focus on end-users.
  • Be responsible for technical realizations and manage necessary installations and configurations of hardware and software to implement IT infrastructure successfully.
  • Inform, train, and guide end-users to ensure that systems are utilized in the best possible manner and as efficiently as possible.
  • Create and update FAQ documentation.
  • Stay well-informed about developments in the specific field and keep knowledge up-to-date within the context of new developments to strengthen credibility by offering a service based on updated knowledge.
