Junior IT Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior IT Engineer to join our team.

As a member of the Ackcent team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring IT operations by providing first-line support, managing IT assets, and maintaining systems efficiency. Your contributions will help enhance our internal IT services, improving productivity and security across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to internal areas, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Maintain and update IT documentation, including asset records and knowledge base.
• Manage IT inventory, ensuring proper tracking and availability of equipment.
• Support live events by assisting in technical setup, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
• Perform maintenance tasks on systems, software, and devices.
• Administer Microsoft 365, including accounts, permissions, and device management.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals are a plus.
• Basic understanding of IT support principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac system administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Knowledge or certifications in Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with employees across departments.
• English level B2 or higher.
