After starting to expand in Vietnam, Spain, and France, we are now searching for a Junior Flight Simulator Technician to join our friendly and multicultural team in Barcelona.
We offer a highly challenging field and a wide scope of responsibilities, which will initially include :
- Maintenance and repair of Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD) (electronics, computers, pneumatics, and mechanics);
- Liaison with Flight Crews before and after training sessions to ensure smooth operation;
- Ensuring all documentation is completed correctly to maintain high simulator availability;
- Providing initial response to flight crews during training sessions and reacting immediately to faults that cannot be rectified, which may result in "lost time" affecting simulator availability;
- Performing periodic check-ups prior to training sessions, diagnosing and salvaging issues, including software and hardware adjustments;
- Using Procedures Manual, Repair Manual, and User Manual (in English);
- IT equipment maintenance;
- Following approved company processes;
- Participating in daily meetings based on Lean principles;
- Setting and achieving short-term and long-term goals aligned with the company’s strategic objectives;
- Performing other duties as assigned by the direct manager.
We are looking for a team member who has :
- A university bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (or is a student) (Aviation, Electronics, Informatics, Automation, Mechanics, or similar);
- Experience with measuring instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.);
- Ability to read drawings and schemes of electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems;
- Experience in using and repairing electronic and computer equipment;
- Ability to work in shifts;
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken);
- Analytical thinking, high responsibility, ownership, and result-oriented attitude;
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus;
- Experience with simulators or similar fields is an advantage;
- Compliance with work discipline, safety, fire safety, and environmental protection requirements;
- Right to live and work in the EU;
- A passion to learn daily and a love for aviation.
