We're actively seeking an experienced (semi-senior) or Junior Firmware Engineer to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Research & Development team.

What would be your mission within this role? As a Firmware Engineer, you will provide support in the Development of embedded firmware OS according to standards and customer specifications.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Analysis and design of features for security embedded systems.
2. Implementation of firmware code for security embedded systems.
3. Firmware maintenance and development support.
4. Testing of firmware code for embedded systems to validate the developed features.
5. Analysis of issues on released products.

Authority: Make design and development decisions of the different functionalities of the embedded firmware OS in alignment with Technical Lead.

Required knowledge:

1. Beginner level in programming language C (embedded).
2. Beginner level in embedded HW and SW systems.
3. Familiarity with agile methodologies.

If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Software, Telecommunications or related field.
2. Previous experience as a Firmware Engineer or similar role (Desired, but not required)
3. Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent)
4. Proficiency in Spanish and good written, reading and spoken English to communicate with our global team.
5. A good level of Chinese is a plus.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
