Junior Financial Analyst

Your role

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality sector and support the financial performance of our growing portfolio. You’ll help turn data into insights through P&L analysis, financial modeling, and KPI tracking to drive smarter business decisions.

Your Journey

• Collect, consolidate, and structure financial and operational data across multiple business units (hotels, short-term rentals, admin, etc.)
• Own the preparation of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Build and maintain financial models and scenario analysis tools to support strategic planning.
• Analyze key financial and operational KPIs (e.g., RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP, cost per unit) and deliver actionable insights.
• Monitor and analyze company expenditures and costs.
• Monitor performance vs. budget and forecast, and support variance analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (operations, revenue management, accounting).
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and month-end closing processes.
• Prepare clear and concise reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership.

What do you bring to your trip

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
• 1 year of experience in financial analysis; experience in the hotel or real estate sector is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is essential.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
• Highly analytical mindset with attention to detail and business acumen.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Fluency in English & Spanish.
• Experience with ERP systems or PMS tools.
• Passionate, proactive, practical, dynamic, and energetic.
• Flexible, resilient, and adaptable to change.
• Comfortable in a start-up environment.
