Junior Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable

Ebury Central Leon Office - 4 days a week office based working (1 day from home office)

As a Junior Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable, you will work in the Finance - Accounts Payable department in the firm’s Central Leon office.

The Role

Working as part of the Finance team from our offices in central Leon, you will be responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, making payments, and controlling expenses by receiving payments.

Responsibilities:

1. Completing payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
2. Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks
3. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
4. Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
5. Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
6. Cross-departmental projects
7. Collaborating in the audit process

Requirements:

1. At least half a year of experience in accounting
2. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
3. English (C1), Spanish (C1), other languages are a plus

Desired skills:

1. Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and highly reliable
2. Strong skills in problem-solving, basic accounting principles, teamwork, documentation, data analysis, and multi-tasking
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Any ERP (NetSuite/Oracle, SAP, and NAV) experience is a plus
