Suntransfers, based in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking a Junior Finance Assistant to support the Finance Team, focusing on Accounts Receivable and credit control. The role offers a hybrid setup with an international, multilingual culture.

You will gain broad, hands-on experience across the finance function while taking ownership of the customer side of cash flow. Great growth opportunities within CMAC Group and ComfortDelGro.

Qualifications

• Background in Finance or Accounting -- Relevant qualifications preferred (no previous experience required)
• Proactive and problem-solving -- Looks for solutions and organize own workload.
• Good communicator -- Comfortable dealing with clients, suppliers and other partners.
• Good command of Excel; exposure to an ERP (ideally SAP) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish -- Additional languages are a plus!
• Thrives in a Dynamic Environment -- Fast-paced, multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Collections follow-up: monitor outstanding balances and chase overdue invoices via email/phone.
• Cash allocation: record receipts and match payments to invoices; keep ledger up to date.
• Accounting records & Month-end close: reconcile AR balance sheet accounts.
• Audit: support external audit with documentation and auditor requests.
• Continuous improvement: identify and help implement finance process improvements.
