Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior team member to assist with the company's accounting activities. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your accounting skills while being guided and mentored by our experienced team.

Successful candidates should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a proactive attitude, and the eagerness to learn and grow. You will be given autonomy in your daily tasks but also receive support and guidance to ensure your professional development. Main duties and responsibilities

• Client invoicing and other sales administrative support to our sales force
• Support for the preparation of the monthly and annual management accounts
• Run Accounts Payable, processing all supplier invoices, making payments and handling queries
• Run Accounts Receivable, sending invoices to clients and ensuring a smooth payment process
• All transactional processing for the business including accruals and prepayments
• Assist in the preparation of all documents for tax and audit reporting as required
• Support the control of the monthly recognition of revenues and cost of sales, reconciling at project level
• Support for any relevant accounting issues of our Mexican subsidiary
• Interface to M3’s international accounting team

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. The performance of different tasks as necessitated by the changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization is expected.

Qualifications

Education and competencies required

• English working knowledge (speaking, reading, writing)
• 1-2 years’ experience in a management accountant role
• Keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy essential
• Solid understanding of basic systems and Excel; basic proficiency in Excel (such as formulas, data management, and simple analysis) is essential. Experience with finance systems like NetSuite, or similar is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Time management skills and comfortable at juggling many tasks
