Formación

• Licenciatura en Telecomunicaciones, Electrónica, Ciencias de la Computación o campo relacionado.
• Conocimientos básicos de estándares de comunicación móvil.
• Experiencia previa en pruebas móviles o optimización de redes es un plus.

Responsabilidades

• Realizar pruebas de campo en smartphones y dispositivos inalámbricos.
• Analizar KPIs de red y documentar resultados de pruebas.
• Colaborar con equipos de I+D, QA y redes para resolver problemas.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Field Test Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about mobile technology and wireless communications. You will be responsible for testing and validating smartphones and wireless devices in real-world environments to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:

Conduct field testing of smartphones and wireless devices across various network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).

Analyze network KPIs such as call drops, data throughput, and handovers.

Log and report issues using internal tools and platforms.

Collaborate with R&D, QA, and network teams to troubleshoot and validate issues.

Perform software and firmware updates on test devices.

Follow detailed test plans and procedures accurately and on schedule.

Document test results and findings in a clear and structured format.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Basic understanding of mobile communication standards (IMS, GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G NR).

Familiarity with Android, FWA, MiFi, and wearable devices.

Hands-on experience with tools like QXDM, ELT, LOGEL, or similar.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Proficient in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Previous internship or co-op experience in mobile testing, RF, or network optimization is a plus.

Knowledge of scripting or data analysis tools is an advantage.

Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently to Madrid for testing and team coordination.
