Applus+ IDIADA, a global automotive engineering leader, is seeking an ADAS testing engineer to collaborate with teams worldwide and meet customers' quality and schedule expectations. The role is based at IDIADA HQ and offers a highly flexible hybrid work model.

You will develop testing methods, update equipment, verify performance of ADAS systems, conduct virtual and physical tests, analyze data, and report progress to management.

Formación

• Experience in automotive engineering projects (design and/or validation).
• Ability to work with international and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
• Valid driving license.

Responsabilidades

• Developing new or better testing methods and tools for ADAS/CAV teams.
• Maintains and updates current equipment and investigates upgrades.
• Support project teams in performance verification of ADAS systems at vehicle level.
• Conduct virtual and physical testing.
• Collect and analyze test data.
• Generate reports addressing customer needs.
• Report test results and program progress to management using internal tools.

Job Description

You will work in close cooperation with a team of engineers from our business units worldwide in order to meet the customer’s expectations of quality and schedule.

The position will be based in IDIADA HQ.

Responsibilities

• Developing new or better testing methods and tools for the teams across the various ADAS and CAV functions.
• Maintains and updates current equipment and investigates the need for upgrades and new solutions.
• Supporting the project teams in performance verification of ADAS systems at the vehicle level and against defined requirements and regulations
• Conduct the virtual and physical testing.
• Collect and analyze test data.
• Generate a report responding to the customer’s need.
• Report to a Manager the test results and test program progress using the internal tools.

Qualifications

Profile

• Experience in automotive engineering projects (design and/or validation) related to the fields of ADAS would be an asset.
• Working with international and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and solution-oriented approach
• Excellent interpersonal, team and communication skills
• Able to bridge company and client interests
• Availability to travel across Europe
• Driving license

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanics, Industrial, Automotive, Electronics or similar

Languages

• Fluent in English, other languages would be an asset
