Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Junior Software Platform Integration Engineer to support computing platforms strategy within the HIS domain. You will help with embedded software standardization, HW/SW integration for multi‑system architectures, and certifiable, high‑performance software artifacts for airborne computing platforms.

You will participate in requirements elicitation, V&V activities up to DO-178C, and technical prototyping on reference boards.

Formación

• Solid understanding of C for real-time embedded systems.
• Familiarity with GNU toolchains and compilers (GCC, Clang/LLVM).
• Knowledge of ARM, PowerPC, or x86 architectures.
• Basic knowledge of avionics data buses (ARINC-429, CAN, Ethernet).
• Academic or internship experience with RTOS/ARINC-653.
• Basic awareness of RTCA DO-178C processes.
• Python for automation and data formats such as JSON/XML.
• English at least B2 for technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in elicitation and maintenance of Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
• Support Validation & Verification activities for safety-critical software.
• Help integrate software platform architectures and third‑party modules.
• Contribute to API standardization and platform support software.
• Assist in benchmarking, prototyping, and board bring‑up activities.
