Job summary

OPENCHIP & SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES in Barcelona is seeking a Junior DFT Engineer to join the digital design team. You will contribute to silicon design execution, SoC DFT architecture, and verification of DFT measures to meet production requirements.

You will collaborate with design, production test and qualification teams to meet test requirements with efficient DFT solutions, support test pattern generation and post-silicon QA, and help achieve coverage for logic, memories, IO and mixed‑signal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Basic understanding of digital IC design principles
• Familiarity with RTL design concepts
• Exposure to DFT concepts, including scan, test controller, and MBIST
• Knowledge of HDL (Verilog or VHDL) and basic synthesis concepts
• Ability to learn and use EDA tools (VCS, TestMax DFT/ATPG/Advisor)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic networking concepts
• RISC‑V exposure
• Digital design fundamentals
• Scripting languages: Perl, Python

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of digital design fundamentals: Familiarity with digital logic gates, combinational and sequential circuits, and basic design methodologies.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages: Perl, Python.
