Your Mission

As part of the Development & Construction team you'll take part in the end-to-end development of renewable energy projects — from early-stage screening through to Ready-to-Build — helping ensure each project's technical, regulatory, environmental and financial viability. You'll act as a key point of contact throughout the development phase, engaging with landowners, local authorities, consultants and technical partners, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to keep projects on track for timeline, quality and budget. You'll also support our M&A team with technical input on new opportunities, and may contribute to broader Development & Construction initiatives such as process standardization, reporting and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage renewable energy projects in your region, from early development through to Ready-to-Build, ensuring technical, economic and regulatory viability.
  • Coordinate engineering design and technical documentation with internal teams and external engineering consultants (production studies, drawings, reports and budgets).
  • Support the permitting process, liaising with public authorities and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations at every stage.
  • Conduct technical, environmental and land-use analysis to assess site viability, supporting land rights negotiation and acquisition.
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate project risks (technical, financial, contractual, environmental), anticipating issues and building contingency plans.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates — milestones, schedule, costs, quality, risks — to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical office follow-up for projects under construction, tracking documentation and milestones and supporting the permits needed for commissioning.
  • Collaborate with the M&A team on renewable asset acquisitions, contributing to technical due diligence (resource, grid capacity, environmental impact, permitting).
  • Support development and construction teams in other geographies, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Legal and Procurement on cross-functional project activities, including financial close and other corporate processes.
What You Bring

  • At least 1–2 years of experience managing renewable energy projects in development and/or construction.
  • Knowledge of energy sector regulations (national and other EU markets), GIS tools (QGIS, Global Mapper or similar), advanced Office skills, and experience managing project schedules and budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills, cross-functional leadership and a results-driven mindset.

  • Other languages will be considered an asset.
