The role :

As a Junior Data Engineer with Python, you will be crucial in building and maintaining our data infrastructure on AWS. You will collaborate with our data team to develop, manage, and optimize data pipelines using Spark. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in data engineering and work with cutting-edge technologies.

Key responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with design, backend, and testing teams to build a scalable, reliable product.
  • Design, develop, and manage data pipelines to ensure seamless integration of event data into the database.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and standards improvement.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance according to industry and company standards.
  • Analyze new functionalities and system improvements.
  • Document data engineering processes and workflows.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in Python; experience with other data processing languages is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous project experience in data engineering or related fields.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB.
