Job summary

Ebury Leon Office is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to own governance across our international group. You will be the go-to person for board and entity matters in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting senior leadership across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires a fully qualified lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction, excellent drafting and communication skills, and a keen interest in corporate governance. Hybrid work arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Must be fully qualified lawyer in a jurisdiction relevant to Ebury Group.
• Excellent communication, organisational and drafting skills.
• Interest in corporate governance and ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with front office, corporate development, product and other teams to resolve governance and legal queries.
• Act as company secretary for a portfolio of subsidiaries; prepare board packs and minutes.
• Manage quarterly governance cycle across jurisdictions; ensure filings and approvals are timely.
• Prepare and manage corporate documents, resolutions, powers of attorney, notarisation and apostille as required.
• Maintain corporate records, registers, and director changes within the entity management system.
• Assist in setting up new entities and improving governance frameworks and procedures.
