We are seeking a friendly and efficient Junior Cashier to join our team in Madrid Spain. As a Junior Cashier you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Operate the cash register and process various forms of payment including cash credit cards and digital payments
• Accurately count and handle money making change when necessary
• Scan items bag purchases and ensure proper pricing
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Assist customers with inquiries product information and locating items in the store
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
• Assist with inventory management and restocking when necessary

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling
• Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
