We are currently recruiting a Junior CAD Technician based in Madrid, Spain, for our Enterprise Capabilities Office. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office and remote work.

The successful candidate will join our Hydraulics and Drainage team to work on various projects, including drainage networks and flood modeling. Our team has a proven track record of delivering civil engineering designs globally, including in the USA, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East.

This position provides an opportunity to work on iconic Transportation and Water projects within a diverse, multicultural environment. It is ideal for a CAD Technician looking to advance their career in H&D drafting in an international setting, with opportunities to learn new digital software platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to project CAD standards.
• Create detailed design drawings from sketches and notes using CAD 2D and 3D.
• Collaborate using engineering project software platforms (e.g., ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Perform quality checks on drawings following QAQC procedures.
• Coordinate with team members across different offices.
• Work with limited supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills and resilience to work under strict deadlines and diverse leadership styles.
• CAD software proficiency (preferably AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer); accreditation is a plus.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in drafting technology or similar professional education, or equivalent experience.
