We are seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to assist in BD and Marketing tasks, gaining knowledge of processes and practices within the commercial department and the power sector at TR. This role will be under the supervision of the Commercial Director and will involve developing initial prospects as part of a career development plan.

Role description and responsibilities
  1. Analyze the market to identify opportunities and promote engineering, procurement, and construction services for utilities, developers, and infra funds, focusing on power-related technologies and projects. Examples include:
  2. Gas-based power plants: experience with gas-fired GT and CCGT technologies, crucial for decarbonization and energy transition.
  3. Zero emissions power plants: including CCS solutions for gas plants, renewables, biomass, and waste-to-energy (W2E) technologies.
  4. Assistive technologies for electrification: grid support technologies aiding renewable integration, such as inertial synchronous condensers, batteries, and thermal energy storage.
  5. Contribute to defining TR's value proposition for each opportunity in collaboration with the Power Business Unit (BU) and the Commercial Director.
  6. Maintain high-quality marketing documentation across all commercial activities.
  7. Engage and maintain relationships with clients and key OEMs, understanding their technologies and future plans.
  8. Establish TR’s market positioning, define strategies, and support bidding processes, coordinating with other Business Development Managers and Proposal Directors.
  9. Report all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, using Salesforce.
Background and experience
  1. No experience required; however, over 3 years of relevant experience is valuable.
  2. Aspirations to become an international commercial manager in the energy/power sector.
  3. Interest and knowledge of power OEMs, utilities, infra-funds, and developers, with a desire to understand market drivers, trends, and players.
  4. Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  5. Creative with the ability to produce high-quality technical and commercial documentation; clear verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Passion for technologies supporting the energy transition, such as CH4 and H2 power generation and CCS.
  7. Availability to travel within Europe, America, and the Middle East.
  8. Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from a top-tier university.
