Clarity AI in Madrid (hybrid) is seeking a Junior Data Research Associate to ensure accurate ESG data for sustainability impact measurements.

You will collect and verify data from financial, exchange, and regulator sources; support data projects with analysis and QA; research ESG standards; mentor contractors; and contribute to data acquisition.

This role offers a dynamic, diverse environment with global offices and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Finance, Economics, IT Relations, Accounts or Environmental Studies.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1).
• Experience in data collection / data research.
• Experience in a start-up or tech company.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Collecting, verifying, and processing sustainability data from various financial, exchange, and government regulator websites and official reports.
• Assisting in data collection projects through data analysis, quality assurance and data monitoring.
• Conducting frequent research on ESG reporting standards and assisting in the development of methodologies for the collection of best-in-class data.
• Mentoring and training external contractors and internal team on ESG indicators and sustainability frameworks.
• Perform ad hoc team projects as needed.

About The Role

We are looking for a Junior Data Research Associate who will help us ensure that we have the most accurate ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data, in order to provide the most reliable sustainability impact measurements.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working as a Junior Associate - Data Research, your role will include, but not be limited to, the following activities:

• Collecting, verifying, and processing Sustainability data sourced from various financial, exchange, and government regulator websites and official reports
• Assisting in data collection projects through data analysis, quality assurance and data monitoring
• Conducting frequent research on ESG reporting standards and assisting in the development of methodologies for the collection of best-in-class data
• Mentoring and training external contractors and internal team on ESG indicators and sustainability frameworks
• Perform ad hoc team projects as needed

The role is based in Madrid, Spain

Way of Working: Remote / Hybrid

What You’ll Need

• Highly motivated, independent, proactive and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, database applications, and BI tools (e.g. Quicksight)
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detail to work with complex data sets
• At least a Bachelor’s degree- Sustainability, Finance, Economics, Itl. Relations, Accounts, Environmental Studies or similar field of study
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user)
• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL and/or business intelligence tools is a plus
• Experience in Data collection / data research or similar roles
• Experience in a start-up and/or tech company
