Origination, Business Model and Financial Planning and Placement

The post is compatible with MBA studies, and we will consider part-time roles as long as this is a minimum of 50% time and located in the CET time zone for doing business.

Role Summary :

We are a young Boutique Investment Bank, with HQ in Spain but with presence in several countries in Europe. As an Analyst at KH Holdings, you will work in the analysis and structuring department, focusing on originating deals, optimizing business models, and financial business plans to meet the requirements of venture capital (VC) investors for startups and SMEs seeking investment rounds between €500k and €5M. Your expertise will directly influence our clients' success in securing funding by providing strategic insights and support during engagements with VC and private equity (PE) funds. Success in this role is defined by your ability to deliver accurate analyses, guide clients through the investment process, and exceed performance targets, ultimately contributing to the growth of our organization.

The role is mostly online and through videoconferencing, so location is flexible although.

Responsibilities :

• Business Model Analysis : Evaluate and enhance business models of startups and SMEs to ensure alignment with VC investment criteria and market trends.
• Financial Planning : Develop comprehensive financial business plans and forecasts that reflect realistic growth trajectories and funding requirements.
• Placement Dedication : Lead the placement efforts in engaging venture capital funds and other investment sources, preparing materials, and providing insights to strengthen client engagements with VC and PE funds. Rework the business plan and materials according to VC fund feedback.
• Investment Readiness Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments of client readiness for investment, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
• Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor landscapes, and investor preferences to inform client strategies and enhance our service offerings.
• Performance Tracking : Set and monitor performance metrics to ensure departmental and individual objectives are met, contributing to the overall success of client funding rounds.

Qualifications :

• Education : MBA or equivalent degree in Finance or a related field is required.
• Experience : Internship in financial analysis, business planning, or similar roles; experience in investment banking is a strong plus but not mandatory.

Skills :

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in a second language preferred.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

English proficiency and a second language are mandatory. Spanish is a strong plus.

Training :

Willingness to participate in on-the-job training to enhance investment banking techniques and industry knowledge. We will provide extensive on-the-job training and experience.

Compensation :

This position offers a competitive compensation package, starting with a two-month trial and training period that includes a small monthly salary. Afterwards, a strong monthly salary with performance-based bonuses and fully vested share options within six months, contingent on achieving objectives.
