Aviation Island is a consultancy firm in the aviation business.

We are mainly focused on aviation maintenance CAMO management, aircraft redeliveries, and engineering services in general, provided to aviation companies or other customers in the field.

Tasks

The selected candidate will perform duties in the Technical Records department within a team of engineers and technical personnel, reporting directly to the Office Manager. The main responsibilities will include:

  • Reception, revision, and closing in the system (AMOS software) of all maintenance jobs performed by the MRO.
  • Managing and processing base maintenance checks and reviewing records to ensure standards and policies are met.
  • Revising and closing all major checks received digitally, updating the system with relevant info (component changes, SBs, etc.).
  • Claiming and following up on discrepancies, whether documental or missing documents.
  • Providing support and feedback to other departments such as CAMO Engineering.
  • Participating in Phase-in or Phase-out projects when required, collaborating and assisting as needed.

Requirements

Aerospace Engineer degree is a MUST.

  • Self-disciplined and methodical person.
  • Prior experience in the area is not required but will be considered.
  • EU residence and work permit are required before applying.

Valuable Experience :

  • Experience in aviation and aviation maintenance.
  • Experience working within a CAMO, especially in the Technical Records department.
  • Proficiency with AMOS software.
  • Good skills with Excel and overall computer literacy.
  • Driving license and vehicle ownership.
  • Residence in Barcelona or nearby.
  • Availability for travel.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Option to work from home 1-2 days a week.
