Your role

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and passionate Junior Accountant to join our team. As an Junior Accountant you will be mainly responsible for finance daily activities and reporting to headquarters Finance Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the vacation rental industry and be part of the fast growth of our company.

Your Journey

• Recording and control of accounting operations : Management of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and oversight of invoices (issued and received) to ensure proper accounting of all financial transactions.
• Management of accounts payable and receivable : Tracking payment deadlines, managing suppliers and customers, and updating records of payments and collections.
• Support in tax preparation : Assisting in the collection and preparation of necessary documentation for tax filings and ensuring compliance with tax obligations.
• Preparation of basic financial reports : Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports as required by the company.
• Assistance with internal and external audits : Participating in the gathering and preparation of documents required by auditors to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.
• General finance : all activities related to general finance such as bank relationship, suppliers, to be the link with other departments.

What do you bring to your trip

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial software (SAP / Oracle / Sage is a plus).
• 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably with experience at a Big 4 firm.
• Knowledge of accounting rules in Spain.
• Native Spanish and professional-level English.
• Willingness to take on challenges in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
• Self-starter, creative, thinking outside the box and willing to support expansion in a fast-growing environment.
• Passionate, proactive, hands on, dynamic and energetic
• Flexible,resilient and adaptable to changes
• Confident working in cross-functional teams.
