Key Job Responsibilities:
  • As a logistics scheduler within the Central Operations team, your role will focus on last-mile forecasting, scheduling, and routing, playing a key role in our delivery stations' operations.
  • You will be responsible for executing daily forecasts, labor scheduling, and routing, affecting tens of thousands of packages through the use of tools and coordination within the station.
  • You will be accountable for cost, customer experience, and delivery partner experience.
  • You will develop best practices and standard work for the network, ensuring targets and service deadlines are met according to regulatory requirements.
  • You will communicate proactively with various departments, maintaining Amazon’s high service levels for customers and suppliers, facilitating information flow, and resolving potential issues.
  • You will take strategic steps to improve processes, conduct research into improvement initiatives, and make real-time decisions.
  • You will maintain and report accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Solid experience in a Logistics or Transportation environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Flexible and able to remain level-headed in unexpected or unplanned situations.
