We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified postdoctoral researcher to join our team within the Biomarkers and genomic reproductive medicine research line from IVIRMA-La Fe Health Research Institute.
Responsibilities
Conduct advanced research in embryology and reproductive medicine
Contribute to scientific publications
Collaborate with an international team and engage in outreach activities
Requirements
PhD obtained within the last 8 years in:
Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics, or Computer Science (with biomedical applications). Alternatively:
PhD in Biomedicine or Biotechnology with strong programming and machine learning background
Not having worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years
Strong expertise in:
Python and key libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
Deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow or PyTorch
Data handling: SQL, data cleaning, integration, and feature engineering
Solid publication record in applying AI or computational methods to clinical or biological challenges
Experience working with messy, real-world clinical data
Valuable asset: knowledge of reproductive medicine, ART, embryology, and morphokinetic time-lapse data analysis
Good command of English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
