Technical Product Owner - Campus Radio Systems / Funk (f / m / d)

The IT Infrastructure department within our airport IT designs, implements and integrates information technology infrastructure solutions as part of projects and internal orders and ensures that the defined quality targets are met with a high level of technological expertise over the long term. In this role, you will assume overall responsibility for the Campus Radio Systems product cluster, including its further development. The product cluster comprises voice (radio) including radio network planning for digital and analog radio network planning in the outdoor and indoor environment, public authority radio and delegation of 3rd level tasks. You will also be responsible for the technical management of the team.

Tasks that inspire

• Product development : you analyse and record stakeholder requirements, prioritize them based on value and feasibility and continuously adapt the products to market changes and customer feedback.
• Product roadmap development & product management : you develop and prioritize a product roadmap, develop solution strategies with the requesting areas, taking into account global specifications and determine in-house and external development shares.
• Stakeholder management : you communicate effectively with all stakeholders, present the product vision transparently, cultivate relationships to gain trust and support and resolve conflicts between different interest groups.
• Communication & customer care : you ensure efficient cooperation with authorities and maintain a close exchange with your customer base in the field of building radio. In addition, you ensure a continuous exchange of experience, including with other airports.
• Budget and resource management : you plan budgets and resources in coordination with the manager and responsible departments in accordance with the applicable governance guidelines and ensure that they are used effectively to achieve the strategic goals.

Qualifications that count

• You have successfully completed a degree in a STEM field and ideally have an additional qualification or training in (agile) project management or Scrum.
• You have relevant professional experience in the radio product cluster and have very good theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of radio network planning, radio system technology, radio frequency technology and radio frequency measurement methods.
• In terms of content, you have a broad base - you have good knowledge of network topologies, hosting and have a good knowledge of telecommunications.
• In addition, you will benefit from practical experience in agile project management, especially in working with a Scrum process - ideally, you will underpin your agile methodological expertise with certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Agile Product Owner (CAPO) or in agile methods in general (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
• You attach great importance to effective, cross-departmental cooperation, benefit from your service orientation and analytical approach and are noticeably passionate about your field of activity.
• Even in conflict-laden situations, you maintain the necessary calm and professionalism and always keep the common goal in mind - and this can only be achieved as a well-functioning team!
• You are open to the odd business trip, are business fluent in German and English and agree to a legally required background check.
