For the IT Administration team, we are looking for a

System Administrator (m / f / d)

full-time (39 hours / week) or part-time (at least 30 hours / week).

  • Participation in ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage and network components (Windows / Linux) and database servers
  • Configuration, monitoring and maintenance of firewall systems to ensure network security
  • Implementing and managing IT security policies and measures to prevent threats and ensure data security
  • Diagnosing and solving technical problems relating to the IT infrastructure and security systems
  • Analyzing, processing and independently documenting second-level support requests (remote / on-site) as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation and instructions
  • Installation, configuration and administration of virtualization environments (VMware, Nutanix, Proxmox etc.)
  • Partial) management of IT projects in the area of infrastructure and security

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, information technology or comparable training with several years of professional experience
  • Sound knowledge of virtualization solutions, MS SQL, network architectures, firewall systems (e.g. Fortinet, Check Point) and IT security technologies
  • Practical experience in working with Windows and Linux operating systems (client / server)
  • Ideally an interest in DevOps processes and Kubernetes environments
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset, careful and reliable way of working as well as good communication and teamwork skills
  • Business fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
