In the Clinical Immunology Laboratory Prof. h.c. (RCH) Dr. med. Winfried Stöcker, up to 1,000 sera are examined daily under the guidance of laboratory physicians - the diagnostic repertoire for the field of autoimmune diseases is one of the most extensive in the world.

In our modern medical laboratory with high scientific standards, the position of Head of the Informatics Department is to be filled and an independent integrative laboratory management software is to be newly established.

People with high scientific qualifications should apply; they can expect a well above-average salary.

For reinforcement, we are looking for the next possible date for a :

  • Development and maintenance of software solutions based on 1990s technologies.
  • Collaboration with other developers and specialist departments to optimize existing systems.
  • Carrying out code reviews and ensuring the quality of the code.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing applications.
  • Participation in the planning and design of updates and migrations.

Your profile :

  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in software development, especially with technologies of the 1990s.
  • Sound knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Visual Basic or similar.
  • Experience with databases such as dBase, FoxPro or early SQL versions.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as MSDOS, Windows 3.1 / 95 or Unix.
