Join our team in the Social Security business area in a full-time position working from home or in Herten in the heart of the Ruhr area - and get ahead with the market leader for municipal IT solutions!

This will be your job...

• You will develop modern BI solutions in an agile SCRUM team and actively shape the software architecture.
• You work with state-of-the-art tools such as Apache Superset, cube.js, Kubernetes, Docker, and Quarkus.
• You are responsible for the architecture of microservices and work closely with the other software architects.
• You support your team hands-on, provide guidance, and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• You develop microservices to supplement the existing data landscape and model data for a self-service BI application.
• You create data visualizations in Apache Superset that offer our customers real added value.
• You work according to the test-first approach and coordinate closely with the DevOps experts.

This is what we want...

• You have a degree with an IT focus or comparable training - the decisive factor is your passion for BI and microservices.
• You develop software with Java or Kotlin and have at least 3 years of experience in data engineering in a microservices environment.
• You are enthusiastic about learning and open to new technologies and methods.
• You have an agile mindset and are actively involved in change processes.
• You think outside the box and want to help our customers turn data into knowledge.
