Formación

We are seeking to strengthen our Geodata Management team within the Operational Performance & Development department, full-time at our Langen branch, as a:

Consultant

  • Data Analyst - "Open Data"
  • Implementing, organizing, and optimizing the DFS "Open Data" strategy and architecture
  • Analyzing and preparing open data for further use in compliance with legal requirements such as the E-Government Act (EGovG)
  • Developing a long-term storage and archiving concept for geodata
  • Managing and maintaining geodata sets
  • Integrating and providing geodata in internal and external systems
  • Ensuring documentation and transparency of data processes

What sets you apart

  • Completed studies in information technology, geosciences, or similar, with several years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of databases and models (e.g., PostgreSQL, PostGIS) and programming skills
  • Experience with GIS tools like QGIS for analyzing and processing geodata
  • Strong understanding of data management, visualization, and security
  • Knowledge of data and service modeling in tool-supported data and information management
