GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructure, and territories. We create systems supporting peacekeeping, search & rescue operations, training, and simulation tools, from headquarters to personnel on the ground.

We are seeking a SW Development Engineer to join our I&C team at GTD Defense & Security Solutions, a GTD Group company specializing in large, complex, and safety-critical applications. The position is based in Cadiz, San Fernando, & Puerto de Santa Maria.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers focused on system integration at all levels: mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software. The role involves working on land border surveillance and naval systems, both domestically and internationally, throughout the project lifecycle—from technical specification to design, production, verification, and validation.

Requirements

Your profile :

1. Experience with Linux Operating System.
2. Proficiency in object-oriented programming with C++ (QT environment).
3. Experience in real-time systems applications.
4. Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis tools.
5. Experience in build generation and continuous integration, including cross and distributed compilation.
6. Familiarity with Docker is a plus.
7. Experience in software migration is an asset.

Nice to have :

1. Experience with IBM's Change, Synergy, and DOORS tools.
2. Experience in naval systems programs and holding a Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
3. Knowledge of Combat Systems and/or Command and Control Systems.
4. Knowledge of Training and Simulation Systems.
