IT system technician (m / f / d) for IT support in the field

Your position in our crew

• Strong IT is at the heart of our successful shipbuilding projects! That's why you install, configure, maintain and repair the hardware and software (e.g. servers, switches and routers) at our shipyards and offices on site.
• You will support customers and employees with technical questions and carry out diagnoses and optimizations of existing network landscapes.
• In this context, you will resolve IT problems and establish processes that enable us to reduce the risk of future disruptions.
• Of course, the detailed documentation of all work steps carried out is also part of your day-to-day practice - so your expertise comes into its own, even when you are not on site.
• Whether external customers or colleagues : Your work involves active communication and intensive coordination with different target groups.

What you have in your luggage

• Completed IT training, e.g. as an IT specialist or IT systems electronics technician; alternatively a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related subject
• Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure as well as experience in troubleshooting and problem solving, including the use of remote maintenance tools
• Solid technical knowledge of hardware, software and network technologies (server, network, storage and security)
• Willingness to travel to the Wolgast site
• Valid driving license class B
• Analytical way of working and strong problem-solving skills
• A communicative and committed personality with team spirit and enjoy working independently on varied IT challenges
