The Tübingen Regional Council has a wide range of tasks in the areas of environmental protection and nature conservation, energy transition, climate protection, mobility and transport, education, healthcare, migration, agriculture, market surveillance and many other forward-looking topics. At the Tübingen Regional Council, the following position is available in Department 11 - Organization, Information and Communication - at the earliest possible date :

IT specialist (f / m / d)

Full-time, limited until 30.09.2026 (reference number 25048)

• Monitoring the IT infrastructure
• Support for the specialist processes of the assigned departments (1st & 2nd level support)
• Coordination / implementation of the software and hardware requirements of the assigned departments
• Creation and maintenance of user instructions in the work area
• Further development, adaptation and configuration of workstation hardware
• Administration of the Microsoft Active Directory directory service as well as group policy management and mailboxes
• License and contract management
• Administration and further development of our network infrastructure
• Setting up computers and peripherals for new employees and providing the necessary training

Your profile :

• Completed training as an IT specialist in the field of application development, system integration or comparable

or equivalent skills and experience acquired through several years of relevant professional experience

• Experience and knowledge in the areas of LAN infrastructure and LAN security
• Good knowledge of Windows server / Linux operating systems
• Good knowledge of the administration of Microsoft Active Directory
• Willingness to face the challenges in a dynamically developing and constantly changing specialist area as well as the ability to think analytically and work independently
• Commitment, ability to work in a team and resilience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Class B driving license if possible

Your payment :

Employment is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L). If the personal and collective agreement requirements are met, you will be paid in pay group 10 TV-L. In addition, there is an annual special payment in accordance with the TV-L and a company pension scheme (VBL).
