IT product support and development of the application for procurement management (f / m / d)

The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) is the federal government's real estate service provider, supporting the real estate policy goals of the federal government. The Head Office seeks a IT Product Support and Application Developer (f / m / d) for procurement management applications in Potsdam or Bonn (Salary Group A 12 BBesO / Pay Group 12 TVöD Bund, Job ID: 1281671). The position is permanent, with potential additional temporary allowances based on applicant situation.

You will support our award management application, integrated within our SAP architecture. Your responsibilities include seamless integration into the SAP landscape, advising and supporting users, and further developing the application. You will also represent other IT products within your team.

Main Tasks:

  1. Manage and coordinate the application and its interfaces within BImA's IT landscape, collaborating with departments, external providers, and IT operations.
  2. Work closely with the SAP team, customizing relevant SAP systems.
  3. Evaluate IT faults at 2nd and 3rd levels, develop solutions, and perform root cause analysis.
  4. Manage relationships with external service providers.
  5. Handle change requests within IT change management, including evaluation and implementation, considering interactions with IT products.
  6. Participate in planning and managing all steps up to the deployment of developments.
  7. Oversee release management of the IT product.
  8. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding development and rollout of IT products.

Business trips are possible and will be scheduled in advance to maintain work-life balance.

Qualifications:

  • University degree (e.g., in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least three years of practical IT experience, including IT product management.
  • Experience with content management systems, especially AI Award Managers from Administration Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of SAP environment, especially interface management and customizing.
  • Experience managing external service providers.
  • Expertise in IT requirements, change management, law, compliance, data protection, and security.
  • Proficiency in technical English.
