Department 66 / 1.1 "Personnel, organizational and general administrative tasks and IT coordination" manages PC workstation support related to hardware, software, and telecommunications, serving as the central service point.
We seek a specialist IT working group leader (without personnel management responsibilities), currently overseeing 2 employees. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance, development, and enhancement of office-specific software products.
- Implementation of IT projects, interface coordination between office software and traffic management systems, digitization initiatives in collaboration with the main office of Düsseldorf.
- Administrative tasks such as user management, rights assignment, directory adjustments, storage management, and data archiving.
- Providing central user support for hardware and software issues.
- Participating in the selection and implementation of specialized procedures, market research, financial planning, procurement, and training.
- Engaging in working groups such as the GIS advisory board and digitization projects for telecommunications systems.
Your profile should include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, or equivalent skills.
- Excellent knowledge of network services (DHCP, DNS, MS print services, Active Directory), SQL, basic Visual Basic (VBA), advanced MS Office, groupware, and Windows 10.
- Willingness to learn new technologies quickly, work independently and purposefully, and demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
- Team-oriented problem-solving skills, helpfulness, and strong communication abilities.
- Confident demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills, and a strong service orientation.
- An unrestricted class 3 or EU standard B driving license is required.
