IT architect (m / f / d) for future-proof cloud landscapes (80% remote) - hybrid working (remote & presence)

For a large-scale infrastructure project in the public sector, we are currently looking for an experienced IT architect with a focus on cloud technologies, network concepts, and automation. Remote work: approximately 80%, with presence by arrangement in northern Germany.

• Elicitation of technical requirements and creation of technical concepts
• Design of modular IT architectures - from high-level concepts to operational design
• Evaluation of existing architecture specifications and development of optimized structures
• Development of reusable architecture components for future projects
• Support in the technical implementation and productive introduction of new infrastructure components
• Quality assurance regarding architectural principles, guidelines, and standards

Your profile

• Significant professional experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructures
• Good knowledge in several of the following areas: Network, Server, Cloud, Security, Storage, Middleware, Identity & Access Management
• Strong skills in software-defined networking (SDN), infrastructure automation, and cloud-native architectures
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and a good sense of technical contexts
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and professional demeanor
• Fluency in written and spoken German
