Job in Germany : E-Commerce Web Developer

We are a family business with a passion for making the world a little sweeter, and we are looking for an E-Commerce Web Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous optimization and maintenance of web-based applications focusing on usability, performance, and customer experience
• Design and development of user interfaces for our web solutions
• Planning, programming, and executing test runs and quality assurance across multiple stores
• Identifying and resolving issues in the Shopify store, providing technical support, and ongoing maintenance
• Creating documentation for better collaboration with other departments
• Further developing our e-commerce ecosystem by optimizing existing services, and integrating new solutions and interfaces to third-party providers such as CRM systems, email marketing tools, and ERP systems

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in programming web-based technologies
• Strong knowledge in managing Shopify stores and other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify PLUS, Amazon Marketplace)
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, A/B testing, and data-driven optimization
• Analytical skills, quick learning ability, and an agile working style
• Experience with version control tools such as GIT and design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• German language skills at least B2 level
• Teamwork, hands-on mentality, and a good sense of humor
