Business IT specialist as Application Manager

Tasks

• Support, administer, and further develop relevant applications, especially in planning and reporting (Oracle EPM and UNIT4 FP&A).
• Create and manage artifacts such as forms, dashboards, navigation flows, and business rules.
• Manage roles, authorizations, and the entire approval process.
• Analyze technical requirements and implement them efficiently in the applications.
• Perform system adaptations, upgrades, and performance optimizations to keep applications up to date.
• Support the connection of upstream systems (e.g., SAP R/3) and optimize ETL processes.
• Train and support departments in using Oracle EPM modules.

Requirements

• Degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in support and development of applications, e.g., in planning, financial consolidation, or analysis.
• Experience with FP&A systems like UNIT4 and ERP systems like Oracle ERP, SAP R/3, or S/4HANA is advantageous. Basic knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Oracle SQL) and ETL processes is also beneficial.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, controlling requirements, and multidimensional databases.
• Independent, reliable work ethic, motivated, team-oriented, with good communication skills and a keen instinct for critical situations.
• Very good German language skills (at least C1 level).
