Business IT specialist as Application Manager

Hanover

Tasks

1. Support, administer, and further develop relevant applications, especially in planning and reporting (Oracle EPM and UNIT4 FP&A).
2. Create and manage artifacts such as forms, dashboards, navigation flows, and business rules.
3. Manage roles, authorizations, and the entire approval process.
4. Analyze technical requirements and implement them efficiently in the applications.
5. Carry out system adaptations, upgrades, and performance optimizations to keep applications up to date.
6. Support the connection of upstream systems (e.g., SAP R/3) and optimize ETL processes.
7. Train and support departments in using Oracle EPM modules.

Requirements

1. Degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
2. Several years of experience supporting and developing applications in planning, financial consolidation, or analysis.
3. Experience with FP&A systems like UNIT4 and ERP systems like Oracle ERP, SAP R/3, or S/4HANA is advantageous. Basic knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Oracle SQL) and ETL processes is also beneficial.
4. Strong understanding of financial processes, controlling requirements, and multidimensional databases.
5. Independent, reliable work ethic, motivated, team-oriented, with good communication skills and instinct for critical situations.
6. Very good German language skills (at least C1 level).
