Quatra Iberia in Barcelona is hiring a Route Planner to ensure efficient collections by owning routes, coordinating drivers, and reviewing daily routes. You will optimize travel times, minimize empty mileage, and manage incidents in real time.

Required 1+ year in logistics planning, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Spanish and English. The role offers a permanent contract, direct with Quatra, with opportunities for growth in an international, family-owned company.

At Quatra Iberia, the Route Planner ensures efficient, reliable, and well‑executed collections. With real ownership of routes, you focus on optimization, real‑time coordination, and operational follow‑up, continuously improving the way we work.

Based in Barcelona, you’ll be part of an international team where route planning is a key driver of sustainability—helping every collection contribute to a cleaner world. If you have a passion for logistics and enjoy seeing how every piece fits together, this role is for you.

As a planner at Quatra, you are responsible for:

• Ensure drivers arrive on time while minimizing kilometers and empty mileage
• Analyze maps and travel times to optimize and review daily routes
• Plan interventions and perform general route checks
• Coordinate with drivers throughout the day and manage incidents in real time
• Confirm visits and schedules with customers by phone or email
• Negotiate with customers to increase the size or capacity of containers and tanksto improve operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate planning data, contacts, and agreements in the ERP system

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics planning or a similar operational role.
• Strong analytical and geographical skills, with the ability to quickly interpret maps and geographical data to find effective logistical solutions and ensure accurate customer service.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (English level B2–C1).
• A clear, direct and effective communication style.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with web portals, track & trace systems, and logistics ERP tools (knowledge of Odoo is a plus).
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in an open and direct company culture, with a hands‑on mentality and strong adaptability.
• Experience coordinating operational teams is considered a valuable asset.
