Ewals Cargo Care in Barcelona is seeking a Trucking Planner to optimize transport planning, coordinate daily activities, and guide drivers within a European network. You will use transport management systems, verify driver activity, and maintain records with a focus on efficiency and quality.

The role includes growth opportunities and access to Ewals Academy training to develop in various layers of the organization.

How will you make an impact?

Trucking Planner is part of our operational department which is responsible for the most optimal realization of transport assignments, adhering to quality standards of the organization and taking into account customer demands. As a planner your ultimate goal is to optimize planning and instruct drivers.

Working with us, in a life dynamic planning environment, being in contact with drivers, other transports companies and colleagues from all over Europe, your everyday schedule will look different and exciting.

What will you do?

• Planning, organizing and coordinating the daily transport activities;
• Verifying /checking drivers activity and trucks position;
• Using specific monitoring systems and transport management systems;
• Maintain complete and correct administrative records
• Using specific tools to update the required information.
• Create consignment and planning in operational systems
• Calculating routing and monitoring the general performance and utilisation of the trucks;
• Actively communicating with internal and external partners
• Proactively sharing insight and needs about operational issues.

What are we looking for?

• We are looking for an organized person with a strong motivation to work in transports. Previous transport work experience is a plus.
• You need to be fluent in English and Spanish, to have hands on mentality, and to be a solution-oriented and a problem solver kind of employee.
