HSE Manager – Multinational Industrial Group | On-site role - Northern Spain
On behalf of a leading multinational industrial company, we are currently seeking an experienced
HSE Manager
to lead the Health, Safety & Environment function at one of its key manufacturing sites in northern Spain. This is a strategic role reporting directly to the Plant Director and managing a team of 15 professionals.
Key Responsibilities : Define and implement the site’s HSE strategy in alignment with global corporate standards. Ensure full compliance with local and international HSE regulations. Promote a strong, proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization. Oversee risk management processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead incident investigations and emergency response planning. Manage HSE training and awareness for employees and contractors. Represent the site in group-level HSE forums and audits.
Candidate Profile : Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field. A Master’s in Occupational Health & Safety is a strong asset. Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial environments, ideally within the
chemical or metallurgical sectors . Solid background in
SEVESO-regulated environments
PAU (Self-Protection Plans) . Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence at all levels. Fluency in English is essential; French is a plus.
