The Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Legal Counsel with a strong background in intellectual property, technology, and software law to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance on matters related to intellectual property, software licensing, technology agreements, media contracts, and related regulatory issues, reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

Responsibilities
  1. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients for the different business units and companies of the group.
  2. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage software and hardware-related contracts (license, development, manufacturing, etc.).
  3. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers of all the business units and companies of the group.
  4. Draft, review, and negotiate licensing and advertising agreements.
  5. Support product teams by advising on IP and software-related legal issues.
  6. Ensure compliance with media regulations, including advertising, broadcasting, and content distribution standards.
  7. Provide legal support and guidance on data privacy and compliance regulations.
  8. Support other legal projects according to the team’s needs.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice law, preferably in Spain or Andorra.
  • Master's degree in IT / IP Law.
  • 4+ years of experience in the IT field at a major law firm or corporate in-house legal department.
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property, New Technologies, Software Law, and Media Law.
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing software contracts and other IP-related agreements.
  • Ability to manage different legal projects in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to provide cross-cutting advice across various legal fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to offer practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
