Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven sales professional, who is self-motivated and hungry for success. The role requires a highly organized, dynamic, analytical, creative and client-focused individual, with a strong background in sales and business development, who will maximize media revenue and profits for the group.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive Media Sales revenue – Digital Display, Branded Content, Sponsorship, Creative Solutions, Programmatic / Data
  2. Accustomed to 8 external meetings a week
  3. Adapt to new business opportunities, create sales solutions, and present these to market
  4. Build, maintain and manage relationships with Agencies, Trading Desks, independent trading desks and other demand sources
  5. Sell multiple products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product, without digressing from a coherent product message and overall strategy
  6. Independently build and manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
  7. Work closely with the Sales Director to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals
  8. Interact with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
  9. Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  1. Extensive experience in driving media sales revenue, and negotiating at a senior level
  2. Experience in sales and business development
  3. Demonstrable experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  4. Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  5. Experience in structuring and negotiating deals in this space
  6. Fluency in French and English
  7. Ideally coming from an agency or publisher background
  8. Analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot, and make strategic business recommendations
  9. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  10. Previous experience in travel, technology, and / or consumer internet
  11. Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail
  12. Proactive team player
  13. Self-motivated, tenacious, uses initiative and problem solver
  14. Work to tight deadlines with a can-do attitude
  15. Autonomous and independent
