Your role

You will act as an internal SAP FI / CO consultant,

participating in SAP implementation and maintenance (Enhancements, BAU requests, incident resolution), supporting existing SAP FI / CO installations worldwide. As a SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert, your main responsibilities include:

• Analyzing business needs and documenting requirements
• Proposing and evaluating solution alternatives
• Customizing SAP and conducting unit tests
• Providing world-class SAP support
• Detecting problems and root causes
• Solve incidents and problems
• Implementing enhancements
• Consulting with customers
• Supporting SAP clients / areas
• Participating in SAP implementation and support projects

Your Skills and Experience

As a SAP FICO SME, your qualifications should include:

• Higher education in informatics and / or economics
• Fluent in Spanish and English; German is a plus
• At least 5 years’ experience in SAP international implementations with leading customizing roles
• Proven experience with SAP template rollouts and process harmonization
• Strong defect resolution skills
• Effective teamwork and communication skills in a global environment
• Experience working across cultures and hierarchies

Knowledge

• Senior experience in SAP FI / CO modules, especially Finance Accounting and Reporting
• Knowledge of NewGL; experience with SpecialLedger is a plus
• Understanding of IFRS & other GAAPs
• Knowledge of Financial Closing processes in multinational companies
• Good finance & accounting knowledge
• Familiarity with insurance and bank accounting
• Procurement to Pay processes; Controlling: Internal Orders, CCA, PCA & PAI
• TIL processes knowledge (preferably certified)
• Plus: ALE, LSMW, migrations, SAP upgrades, Winshuttle, ABAP debugging skills
